  Bananas Foster on Waffles

1 stick butter
5 firm bananas. slice
1 cup  dark brown sugar
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 cup rum (flavored is great)

In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in bananas and sugar, and stir until sugar is dissolved. Pour in rum and cook 1 to 2 minutes more. Now you can really have fun and
Flambe´ it! turn off the lights, and light it in the pan  Please do not set anything on fire!

Using a waffle maker follow simple directions from any boxed waffle mix. Make waffles while cooking bananas. When both are finished Spoon the banana mixture onto each waffle. Top with your favorite ice cream or frozen yogurt and enjoy.For added calories you could add chocolate jimmies and fresh whipped cream.
